In their natural zone they grow from rainforest edges to subalpine areas, making them adaptable to any growing condition they find themselves in! Here in our desert environment of Sequim they do very well.
Hang them upside down to dry and keep them for up to a year--or more! They are also very good in crafts: wreaths, flower crowns, and garlands are great uses for your dried flowers
