Hello!
I’m Willow (they/them) and with my wife Carter and our small child we grow eco-friendly, sustainable flowers in Sequim.
We relocated to Sequim in 2023 after a long stint in Oklahoma: the heart of the Dust Bowl. Prior to that we interned on small farms in Washington and Pennsylvania.
We’ve had a hard life: our baby had heart surgery at two months old and this reshaped the way we saw things and the world.
Now we feel it’s more important than every to connect to the people around us and bring a little beauty to the tough times we all share.
Carter works full-time as a pharmacist in Port Angeles where she enjoys her co-workers and serving the community.
Willow is the full-time caretaker of our son who is doing well after his surgery and has a lot of energy. He is a sassy toddler.
We raise our flowers with as much love and as few inputs as possible. We use one small hand tiller and do most things by hand—no tractor needed.
We farm with a flock of ducks who provide the nutrients our flowers need and compost all our waste so we can keep giving back to the land that is providing for us.
We believe everything is a cycle—when you take care of others, they take care of you too.
While we can’t control the challenges in life, we can control our reactions to them. The main way we made it through is with love. Our flowers are loving and we know you’ll feel the love, too.
